As always we have our specialized team and always attentive to the needs of our customers.
And in case at home you want to do it yourself we offer you a series of tips and instructions to carry out a correct anti-covid19 disinfection in your home.
How to clean and disinfect
To clean we must use gloves, disposable or reusable that in such case these gloves must be used exclusively for such use, to carry out routine cleaning and disinfection.
Surfaces with soap and water, and then use disinfectant. (Cleaning with soap and water reduces the amount of germs, dirt and impurities on the surface. Disinfection kills germs on surfaces). We understand by surfaces everything we touch, such as tables, knobs of the layings, light switches, desks, chairs, faucets, keyboards…
We recommend the use of EPA-registered home sanitizers (There is a list of EPA-approved products to combat the virus that causes COVID-19), and first and foremost always follow the instructions on the label to ensure safe and effective use of the product.
Precautions such as wearing gloves (already commented on) and ensuring good ventilation of the place when using the product.
Also as an alternative diluted chlorine solutions can be used if they are suitable for the surface, as it could damage that surface (for this it is advisable to read the labels of the products before use and ensure that it is suitable for disinfection). Chlorine bleach that is not expired will be effective against coronaviruses if properly diluted.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Never mix chlorine bleach with ammonia or other cleaning products.
Leave the solution on the surface for at least 1 minute.
To make a chlorine bleach solution, mix:
5 tablespoons (1/3 cup) of chlorine bleach per gallon of water (=3.785 liters)
or 4 teaspoons of chlorine bleach per quart of water
Chlorine bleach solutions will be effective for disinfection for up to 24 hours. You can also use solutions with at least 70% alcohol.
In the case of soft (porous) surfaces such as sofas, carpets, carpets and curtains, first use suitable products for cleaning and then clean if possible wash the items using the maximum water temperature allowed and dry completely.
In electronics such as mobile phones, tablets, touch screens, miscellaneous controllers and keyboards, first, eliminate visible contamination if any. Be careful to use products that do not damage electronic components and consider using sleeves for such devices as in such a case with a disinfectant wipe. If you do not have manufacturer's guidelines, consider using alcohol-based wipes or a sprinkler containing at least 70% alcohol to disinfect touchscreens. Dry surfaces thoroughly to prevent fluid build-up.
Sheets, towels, clothes and other items that are washed.
If possible, don't shake the dirty laundry. This will minimize the chance of dispersing the virus through the air.
Wash the items as appropriate in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. If the type of clothing or fabric allows you to wash do it always at more than 60 degrees and dry thoroughly (if the clothes allow it in a dryer). The dirty clothes, sheets and towels of a sick person can be washed with those of other people.
Clean and disinfect the bins of clothing and if possible consider placing a disposable bag (which you can then throw away) or that is washable as well and especially wash your hands when finished.
From Limsa we want to help you keep the spread of the virus under control.
